Launch ↗ Cell Cycle Simulator
Cells grow and divide through the cell cycle, a repeating sequence of growth, DNA replication and mitosis that builds tissues and replaces worn out cells. When the controls on that cycle fail, division runs unchecked, which is what happens in cancer. This simulation follows a population of dividing cells and graphs how their numbers change over time.
