Operail: Gene Regulation Simulation

Bacteria do not transcribe every gene all the time; they switch genes on and off as conditions change. In an operon, a cluster of related genes shares one promoter and one operator, and a repressor protein can bind there to block RNA polymerase. This simulation shows that switch in action as transcription is blocked, released and restarted.
