Ocean Acidification Simulator

As the ocean absorbs carbon dioxide from the atmosphere, the water grows more acidic and less carbonate is left dissolved in it. Corals, clams and other marine organisms need that carbonate to build their skeletons and shells. This simulation tracks how rising CO2 changes ocean pH, and what those changes mean for reef ecosystems.
