Pocket Mice Natural Selection

Natural selection acts when some individuals survive and reproduce better than others because of the traits they carry. In desert pocket mice, coat color is set by the MC1R gene, and owls pick off the mice that stand out against the ground. This simulation runs that predation across generations so you can watch allele frequencies shift as the habitat changes.
