Plant Response Simulator

Plants cannot move, so they respond to their surroundings by changing the way they grow. Hormones carried through the plant tissue make shoots bend toward light, and let leaves and flowers track the changing length of the day across the seasons. This simulation lets you alter the light a plant receives and watch how it responds.
