Launch ↗ Photosynthesis Electron Jumper
Photosynthesis begins when light strikes chlorophyll and lifts an electron to a higher energy level. That excited electron is passed along a chain of carriers in the thylakoid membrane, and the energy it releases along the way is captured by the cell. Here you travel with one electron through the light reactions, answering questions as you go.
